SUNRISE INVESTMENT CORPORATION

Sunrise Investment Corporation (Sunrise) was established in 2007 in Vietnam. Sunrise has extensive relations with enterprises and financial institutions worldwide. As the sole and exclusive representative in countries designated by the international investment fund headquartered in The United Arab Emirates (UAE) to evaluate the project’s feasibility, and coordinate and supervise the investment fund’s loan funding.

Scope of business

Sunrise arranges loan funding for industrial, commercial, and service projects in the public and private sectors including renewable energy, infrastructure, healthcare, water and waste treatments, construction materials, industrial products, food products, pharmaceutical products, apparel goods, seafood goods, etc. except real estate. Sunrise also arranges loan funding for commercial banks, securities companies and insurance firms.

Business activities

Loan funding arranged for the company (the project owner) based on four main criteria such as (1) a loan funding of USD 30 million or more, (2) the company's financial statements for the last 3 years were audited (or reviewed) to international standards by an international auditor (3) the company's equity of a minimum of at least 30% of the new project’s total capital investment or a minimum of at least 15% of the refinancing project's outstanding balance (4) opening of project account at one of the global banks.

After evaluating the project's feasibility complete, Sunrise will transfer the reviewed information about the project with its comments to the investment fund.

When the project is approved for loan funding, the investment fund will send the project owner a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). After the investment fund and the project owner discuss and agree on the MOU provisions, both parties will sign the MOU at the signing ceremony organized by Sunrise at the investment fund’s headquarter in The UAE.

Customer relationship

Over the past two years, Sunrise has arranged loan funding amounts of over USD 550 million in Vietnam, Canada, and the United States in the fields of renewable energy, minerals, healthcare, food, and securities companies, in which the majority of the loan funding is paid directly to suppliers of technology, raw materials, machinery, and equipment in the G7 countries.

Confidentiality policy

Sunrise provides services in the financial sector where all relevant information is kept strictly and discreetly according to the confidentiality obligation agreement between Sunrise, the investment fund, and the project owner.

Chairman

Mr. Hung Pham is the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Sunrise Investment Corporation. He has in-depth experience in banking and construction.

Mr. Hung Pham worked for the State Bank of Vietnam after graduating from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. He has been involved in financial investment, construction, and real estate business in North America for over 30 years.

Mrs. THU THAO THI TRAN

General Director

Mrs. Thu Thao Thi Tran is the co-founder, member of the board of directors, and the General Director of Sunrise Investment Corporation.

Mrs. Thao graduated from the University of Finance and Accounting, the University of Social Humanities major in English, and the University of Foreign Trade major in import and export. She has more than 25 years of experience in business management, interpersonal skills, and market research and analysis.
